Thread of Hope was established in the town of Maai Mahiua in the Rift Valley. Since it’s inception it has provided over 40 women with the opportunity to learn a skill and become a breadwinner for their families.
Micro loans of $180 for a sewing machine and $100 for business start up are provided in a revolving fund for these women.
