Isaak is from a large family and is Ann Machira’s younger brother. Employment is difficult for the parents to find, so a subsistence crop is maintained and the extra is sold. Unfortunately this does not cover even the basic High School costs. Isaak has been sent home multiple times because lack of payment of school fees. This came to a crisis point, so a call was put out on Facebook and several people generously responded. His fees will be paid for this and the following year! Such potential is lost when school is not available. Now he can continue with his education!
Update: Isaak did well in his mid-term exam and continues to excel!
